"Catherine is a gem! She was the first and only officiant we contacted because we liked her from the get-go! Her funny easy going personality sets her apart from the others. She isn't some stiff shirt just repeating words. She took the time to get to know us, to make our experience more personal. She was so easy to get in contact with, always responding promptly to emails, calls and texts, and beyond understanding of circumstances (we had many MAJOR last minute changes).
Since our wedding was effected by COVID-19, we decided to elope. We changed our date, our location, and the plan all together and Catherine went above and beyond (even trekking a mile into the woods) to make it all work out for us. I can't thank her enough for all she did throughout this whole experience. And I look forward to having her officiate our actual wedding again later on! I would highly recommend her to anyone!"

A little bit about how The Ginger Officiant got started:
After officiating a friends ceremony in 2013 I was bit by the wedding bug, starting "Ceremonies by Catherine" soon after. I jumped head first into the wedding industry as an Officiant in March of 2015, and have been on a roll ever since, including officiating an elopement on a glacier in Alaska, a very special vow renewal on the canals of Jordaan, Amsterdam, The Netherlands on my birthday, and officiating many ceremonies in Custer State Park, South Dakota.

My absolute favorite part of officiating wedding ceremonies is getting to know my couples, hearing their (usually awkward and nerdy) love stories, then being an important part of one of the most special days of their lives. I love that there are no two weddings the same; each unique and special no matter how grand or intimate.
